Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA collects dues from members at varying levels to help fund PTA programs, staff grants and student scholarships. The membership dues represent a significant revenue source for our organization. Please see the Membership tab under the PTA section of the school website for details. Submit your dues and become a member today. Special exclusive Wayzata gift items are offered to PTA Members at the different levels of support.

Donations to the annual PTA Fundraiser raises funds to help support PTA initiatives including teacher grants, student events, staff recognition, equipment improvements and more. 100% of money raised goes directly back into your child's school. The 2022-23 annual Donation Drive is planned for October 10-14 - our goal is to raise $15,000!

Be Our Best at West!

If you are new to our school, or are returning and have not yet heard, we participate in the Box Tops for Education program offered by the General Mills Company. You can find the Box Tops for Education logo on many products, such as General Mills cereals, Hamburger Helper, granola bars, Old El Paso products, Kleenex tissues, Cottonelle® tissue, Ziploc® bags, Pillsbury freezer products – they are everywhere!  Just clip out the Box Tops for Education logos and save them in an envelope or bag.  Once you've collected a fair amount, send them to school with your child. Our school office collects them. That's it, we'll do the rest. For each box top we collect, our school gets 10¢ and that quickly translates into hundreds, even thousands of dollars that our PTA can  invest in WMS.  If you have any questions please contact the Box Tops for Education coordinator Mary Roth at dmscaroth@gmail.com.
