    Wayzata High School Headlines

CCX Media Standout Student, Audrey Koehler!

Audrey Koehler, a senior, was recently featured by CCX media as the Standout Student of the Week. She received this award for her work for Days for Girls, which makes reusable menstrual kits for women and girls who don't have access to these products, namely in third world countries. She started this project with her National Honor Society leadership project, which send kits to Haiti, but continued on working with them,as she says, "for own personal interest rather than to meet some requirement or impress somebody else".

She is a terrific student in school, taking many advanced courses, and is highly involved in her local community.

    Keep up the good work!

He is the third Beeninga to play for Wayzata. His team considers him an integral part to their success. He hopes to lead the Trojan's to their 3rd straight section title, and eventually to the state tournament.  Good luck in the tournament!
