WPS Safety Drill 2023
Join Wayzata Schools and the Plymouth Police Department for a family reunification summer drill on July 18, 2023, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. With the assistance of adult and student volunteers, we will set up a reunification site and reunite families. Thanks to the City of Plymouth, we will be using the newly renovated and expanded Plymouth Creek Center.
Our goal is to have 200 students (must be entering grades 10-12 for the 2023-24 school year) and 100 parents/guardians participate in the drill. The Wayzata Public School's Family Reunification team will lead the reunification process while the City of Plymouth and Plymouth Police Department will secure the area, handle road closures, and direct traffic. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to prepare for potential emergency situations!
