Wayzata Public Schools is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. In alignment with this commitment, we adhere to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, a comprehensive federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. This means that all students, regardless of gender, have the right to equal opportunities in academics, athletics, and all other school-sponsored activities. Wayzata Public Schools takes its responsibility under Title IX seriously and has established policies and procedures to ensure that all members of our school community can learn and work in an environment free from sex-based discrimination, including sexual harassment.
