Our Mission

Greenwood PTA’s mission is to support and advocate for our children by partnering with staff and families to create a high-quality learning environment where students can excel and feel confident in themselves. We will accomplish this by:

Strengthening the educational and social environment of Greenwood elementary via community-building events and service opportunities.
Supporting staff resourcefulness and promoting best practices by funding needs and initiatives that directly impact classrooms and children, including literacy efforts.
Complementing the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, communicate and grow.
Increasing parental interest and involvement in our PTA chapter by building awareness of the critical role our organization has in supporting our school.
Maintaining a strategic financial plan for evaluating and prioritizing expenditures.
Continually evaluating the effectiveness of PTA efforts by requesting and responding to feedback from parents and staff.
Conducting purposeful fundraising to support Greenwood initiatives.

Who Can Join?

The Greenwood PTA is made up of parents, guardians, and teachers committed to making more happen at our school. Together, we bring dozens of unique programs and experiences to Greenwood throughout the school year to help our students grow and flourish. We encourage all parents to join the PTA and attend our meetings throughout the year. Our memberships are available online for $13 per member. Join Today!
