North Woods Elementary’s Chris Bradbury has been named Wayzata Public Schools’ March Employee of the Month. Known for her dedication, warmth, and leadership, Chris plays a vital role in keeping the school running smoothly and ensuring student safety.
Wayzata High School Senior Class President Markus Wessman has received the John Lewis Youth Leadership Award for his leadership and civic engagement. He founded the Youth Voter Project, helping register over 2,400 high school students to vote.
Wayzata Transition, the district's program for students with disabilities ages 18 to 22, is providing valuable work experience through a lost and found service for district elementary schools.
Keith Reece, a special education paraprofessional at Oakwood, was recognized as the Wayzata School Board's February Employee of the Month. He is praised for his adaptability, deep understanding of his students' needs, and ability to build genuine connections with everyone. Keith's kindness, respect, and dedication make him an exemplary role model for both students and staff.
Wayzata High School students will perform "The Music Man" from February 21st to March 1st, 2025, in Auditorium 2. This classic musical follows con man Harold Hill whose plans are complicated by his feelings for librarian Marian Paroo.
