Handbook

Our school expectations are built around the Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) process. This is a program that assists staff in identifying positive expectations for student behavior.

All staff members are working together to provide clear and consistent expectations for students. The teachers are explicitly teaching the expectations for appropriate student behavior in the hallway, bathroom, lunchroom, playground, classroom and assembly. Our slogan is “Gator Pride on the Lakeside - I will respect Myself, Others, Property and Community.” When pride strategies are implemented school-wide, staff and students benefit by having an environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. Gator Pride is all about building a positive school-wide community.
