Kindergarten Enrollment is Open for 2025-26!
We're excited to announce that kindergarten enrollment is open for the 2025-26 school year. You can visit our attendance area adjustment webpage and use the address lookup tool to view your school for next school year. Current WPS Families Enrolling in Kindergarten for the 2024-25 School Year
Current WPS Families who wish to enroll a new student can sign to Skyward using your Skyward Family Access username and password and select “New Student Enrollment." Note: be sure to use the correct “tile” for the grade span and school year in which you are wishing to enroll your new student.
New Families Enrolling in Wayzata Public Schools for the 2024-25 School Year
Welcome to Wayzata Public Schools! Families enrolling in WPS for the first time should use this form to begin the online enrollment process for your new student. Complete the required fields to request an account that you will then use to log into a secure new student enrollment system called Skyward Family Access.

Please use the lookup tool using the link above to see what school your child will attend. Once you enter your address, you will need to scroll down to view concept 9, which is the approved attendance area model for 2025-26.
Enrollment Checklist
You will need the following items when you register your student(s):
- Provide current, accurate and valid proof of residency. Examples include: a lease agreement for renters, warranty deed from closing documents, Hennepin county tax statement if property is homesteaded, or a purchase agreement for new builds (submit warranty deed after closing.
- Birth certificate
- Current immunization records
- Minnesota early childhood screening for incoming kindergarteners only. Online appointments can be made here.
- All legal custody documents
