Homeschool Registration

Registration requirements

You must register children between 7- and 17-years-old for homeschooling.

October 1 deadline

Submit your Initial Registration form:

• By October 1 of the first year you homeschool your child after they turn 7, or
• Within 15 days of withdrawing your child from public or private school to begin homeschooling.

After the first year, submit a Letter of Intent to Continue Homeschooling by October 1.

Services

Homeschool students may be eligible for:

• Educational benefits like:
  • Reduced district activity fees
  • Reduced fees to local schools and museums
• Special education evaluations

They must follow state vaccine requirements.
