Celiac Disease and Other Special Diets
Wayzata Cafés provides gluten-free and other meal options for students when medically necessary. Medically necessary is defined as affecting one or more major life activities or bodily functions- including digestive functions, immune system, and neurological functions.
All Special Diets must have a district approved Special Diet Statement Form on file before the special diet can be provided. You will need to submit a Special Diet Statement Form provided by the district and have it signed by a medical professional (Physician, Physician’s Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse, such as a nurse practitioner). We are unable to accept forms signed by Chiropractors or Health Coaches.
