Free Meals for Kindergarten - 12th Grade and Transition Students
School meals (one breakfast and one lunch) are free of charge for all students in Kindergarten through Transition due to the Minnesota Free School Meals bill. Second meals/entrees and a la carte are available for grades 6-12. It is important to create and maintain a meal account for your student(s), as they must have money in their accounts to make additional purchases.
Preschool Meals
Preschool students are not covered by the Minnesota Free School Meals program. As a result, there will be charges for preschool meals. These fees will apply regardless of the results of the Application for Educational Benefits. Preschool Breakfast: $2.30. Preschool Lunch: $4.45.

- Reduced internet fees
- Reduced fees to local zoos and museums
- Discounted cell phone rates through mobile phone providers
Who should complete this application?
- Children in households participating in:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
- Foster, homeless, migrant and runaway children can qualify without reporting household income
- Households whose income is within the maximum income shown for their household size on the instructions of the application

From coffee to boxed lunches, Wayzata Cafés is happy to provide refreshments and/or meals for your group meetings and events.
Catering Menu & Ordering Form
We take pride in creating foods with a variety of tastes and flavors and would love to provide that at your next meeting. Catering orders must be placed two weeks in advance. We will try to accommodate orders placed less than two weeks in advance (additional fees may apply). Use of Kitchens
All district kitchens are licensed facilities. All local and state health department rules, regulations and guidelines must be adhered to by Wayzata Cafes and its assigned staff. A Certified Food Manager employed by Wayzata Cafes must be present anytime any equipment is used in our kitchens. Special Diet Information
Requesting Special Diet Accommodations
If you have dietary restrictions due to a medical condition, please contact Anne-Marie Wold. You will need to submit a Special Diet Statement Form provided by the district and have it signed by a medical professional (Physician, Physician’s Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse, such as a nurse practitioner). We are unable to accept forms signed by Chiropractors or Health Coaches.

Lactose Intolerance
Wayzata Cafés is required by MN Statute 124D.111 to provide lactose-reduced milk to students who are lactose intolerant and have a written request on file with the Wayzata Cafés main office. A doctor's signature is not required. If you are looking for a milk substitute that is not cow’s milk, please refer to ‘Requesting Special Diet Accommodations’ or reach out to Anne-Marie Wold for more information.
If you would like your child to receive lactose-reduced milk, please submit a parent/guardian-signed request to:

From coffee to boxed lunches, Wayzata Cafés is happy to provide refreshments and/or meals for your group meetings and events.
Catering Menu & Ordering Form
We take pride in creating foods with a variety of tastes and flavors and would love to provide that at your next meeting. Catering orders must be placed two weeks in advance. We will try to accommodate orders placed less than two weeks in advance (additional fees may apply). Use of Kitchens
All district kitchens are licensed facilities. All local and state health department rules, regulations and guidelines must be adhered to by Wayzata Cafes and its assigned staff. A Certified Food Manager employed by Wayzata Cafes must be present anytime any equipment is used in our kitchens. Special Diet Information
Requesting Special Diet Accommodations
If you have dietary restrictions due to a medical condition, please contact Anne-Marie Wold. You will need to submit a Special Diet Statement Form provided by the district and have it signed by a medical professional (Physician, Physician’s Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse, such as a nurse practitioner). We are unable to accept forms signed by Chiropractors or Health Coaches.

Lactose Intolerance
Wayzata Cafés is required by MN Statute 124D.111 to provide lactose-reduced milk to students who are lactose intolerant and have a written request on file with the Wayzata Cafés main office. A doctor's signature is not required. If you are looking for a milk substitute that is not cow’s milk, please refer to ‘Requesting Special Diet Accommodations’ or reach out to Anne-Marie Wold for more information.
If you would like your child to receive lactose-reduced milk, please submit a parent/guardian-signed request to:

Free Meals for Kindergarten - 12th Grade and Transition Students
School meals (one breakfast and one lunch) are free of charge for all students in Kindergarten through Transition due to the Minnesota Free School Meals bill. -
Preschool Meal Prices
Preschool students are not covered by the Minnesota Free School Meals program. As a result, there will be charges for preschool meals. These fees will apply regardless of the results of your educational benefits application. Preschool Breakfast: $2.30. Preschool Lunch: $4.45. - Students must have funds in their account in order to purchase second meals/entrees and a la carte items.

Application for Educational Benefits
By completing the Application for Educational Benefits, your student(s) may qualify for additional discounts and support. This application is the key to accessing extra benefits, including:
- Reduced fees for school photography packages
- Potential food support in the summer (Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer)
- Reduced district activity fees
- Reduced internet fees
- Reduced fees to local zoos and museums
- Discounted cell phone rates through mobile phone providers
Who should complete this application?
- Children in households participating in:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
- Foster, homeless, migrant and runaway children can qualify without reporting household income
- Households whose income is within the maximum income shown for their household size on the instructions of the application
