Wayzata Indigenous Advisory Committee (WIAC)

The Wayzata Indigenous Advisory Committee (WIAC) guides Wayzata Public Schools in matters pertaining to Native American Education. The WIAC welcomes new faces and encourages broad participation and collaboration to achieve a thriving community that is supportive of our Indigenous children and their families. Membership in the WIAC is limited to parents of Indigenous students as well as high school students who identify as Indigenous.

Our Goals

  • Develop intercultural awareness throughout the Wayzata community to include students, families, teachers and staff.
