Policy 620 - Student Activities Fees

The purpose of this policy is to establish and maintain a schedule of student activities fees.

The Board is committed to providing educational opportunities at minimal personal expense to students and their families. It is recognized, however, that fees or charges are sometimes necessary to sustain optional activities such as field trips, athletics and instrumental music. Further, charges may be required for certain elective projects in class. Inability of families to pay fees or charges will not be a deterrent to student participation in school activities.

Consistent with state law and regulation, the Superintendent is directed to develop and maintain a schedule of related fees or rental charges.
