Policy 306 - Policy Implementation
I. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to clarify the responsibility of the school administration for implementation of School Board policy.
II. General Statement of Policy
A. The superintendent is responsible to implement School Board policy and to recommend additions or modifications. Policy implementation includes dissemination and education regarding policy and changes to policy.
B. The administration is authorized to develop guidelines and directives to implement School Board policies. These guidelines and directives shall be consistent with said policies and constitute the regulations governing the district. These written regulations shall be presented to the School Board along with their associated policies during the policy review cycle.
C. In the development of regulations, the superintendent will involve at the planning stage those who would be primarily affected by the regulations. The superintendent will carefully consider the input and counsel given by representatives of staff, student, and community organizations.
