Elections
We hold elections for the community to select new board members and vote in district referendums.
School Board elections
The most recent School Board election was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Three seats were on the ballot. Each carries a three-year term as the district transitions to even-year elections beginning in 2028.
Referendum funding requests
Wayzata Public Schools held a referendum on April 14, 2026. The election included three requests:
- Renewal of expiring capital project levy for technology
- Approval of school building bonds
- Approval of school building bonds for a new swimming pool
All three requests were approved by voters.
