Wayzata High School students are invited to explore career options at Wayzata High School's 6th annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Showcase!

  • When: 6:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25
  • Where: Wayzata High School, Gyms 1-4
  • Who: Wayzata High School students

About 100 community partners, businesses, and schools will be there. Students can learn about different career paths by visiting their tables and talking to professionals.

Second-grade students at Sunset Hill Elementary recently teamed up with their fifth-grade buddies and Creative Memories, a Minnesota-based company, for a special community service event. The goal of the service event was to bring joy to residents in a local memory care facility by making handmade cards.

Congratulations to Chris Thein, athletic trainer at Wayzata High School for 26 years, who won the Fred Zamberletti Award. This honor comes from the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Thein is a licensed Athletic Trainer and a Nationally Registered EMT at Twin Cities Orthopedics. He will be honored for his hard work to keep student-athletes safe and help them perform their best!
