Special Education Teacher – West Middle School
Wayzata West Middle School is proud to recommend Brittany Euerle as the January 2023 Employee of the Month. Brittany is in her 10th year as a Special Education Teacher and has taught for 5 years at West Middle School. Brittany is a learner- centered teacher who brings significant expertise, innovation, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day.
Brittany serves on our Building Instructional Leadership Team at West and plays a key role in setting our building goals, leading this important work, and taking actionable steps to achieve these goals. Brittany goes above and beyond to support two long-term subs in her PLC this semester. Her effort to support and mentor her new colleagues has been invaluable and has helped ensure that students' needs are met.

Brittany is the definition of dedication to the profession. In everything from lesson planning and delivery of curriculum and instruction, to going the extra mile to support the students she works with, Brittany is amazing.
Not only does Brittany create meaningful and impactful experiences in the classroom for students, but she also has an enormously positive effect on her colleagues. She takes the time to help her peers with technology, onboarding new teachers to Wayzata schools, and helping with the many due process related components of the special education discipline.

Brittany mentors others and exemplifies a desire to be a lifelong learner herself. She models an unmatched and selfless dedication to students and colleagues. Her “can do” mindset, paired with a genuine calm demeanor, are just a couple of her many admirable traits students and colleagues are fortunate to experience.
