Sidarth Gazula, a senior at Wayzata High School and member of the National Honor Society (NHS), has been selected as an NHS Scholarship Semifinalist. Sidarth was chosen based on his demonstrated work and commitment to support the four pillars of NHS at Wayzata High School: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. As an NHS National Scholarship Semifinalist, Sidarth will receive a scholarship award of $3,200.
Since 1946, more than $21 million in scholarships have been awarded to outstanding NHS senior members to support college access and student success. The scholarship program is supported by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the parent organization of the NHS.
In the 100+ years since NHS was founded in 1921, members like Sidarth have been making a difference in their schools and communities. The NHS Scholarship is NASSP’s way of recognizing the most exceptional of these student leaders.
