WHS Choir Director Conducts Prestigious American Choral Directors Honor Choir

Zack Carlson-Giving, Wayzata High School Choir Director, was recently invited to conduct the MN American Choral Directors Association (ACDA-MN) Honor Choir. He conducted a group of 130 seventh and eighth grade students who auditioned from around the state to earn a place in the CTB (Cambiata, Tenor, Bass) Honor Choir. They rehearsed all day and performed a concert at St. Michael-Albertville High School on Saturday evening, April 6.

The mission of ACDA is to inspire excellence and nurture lifelong involvement in choral music for everyone through education, performance, composition and advocacy. Honor Choirs rehearse and perform high-caliber choral literature from a wide variety of musical genres and periods. To be invited to conduct an Honor Choir is a great honor and recognition of a director's contributions to choral music.
