The Wayzata School Board is pleased to share that it has selected Dr. Robb Virgin as the next Superintendent of Wayzata Public Schools, pending successful contract negotiations.
“Throughout this process, we were focused on finding a leader who shares our community’s commitment to student success, strong partnerships with staff and families, and continued excellence in our schools. We look forward to working together to build on the district’s strong foundation, and support every student in reaching their full potential," said Dr. Milind Sohoni, Wayzata School Board Chair.
“I’m honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve the Wayzata Public Schools community,” shared Dr. Robb Virgin. “This is a district with an extraordinary reputation that has been so well cared for, and I’m excited to partner with students, staff, families, and the School Board to continue building on its legacy of excellence. I look forward to listening, learning, and moving forward together.”
The Board will now begin the process of finalizing a contract. We look forward to sharing more information in the coming months and officially welcoming Dr. Robb Virgin to the Wayzata Public Schools community on July 1, 2026.
