Revised Calendar with 1st Day of School Highlights

Wayzata Public Schools is excited to kick off the new school year!

Please be aware that the first day of school, September 3, will have different schedules for each grade level:

• Kindergarten: Students will participate in Hopes & Dreams Conferences.
• Grades 1-5: Students will have a full day of in-person learning.
• Grades 6 and 9: Students will attend an in-person orientation day.
• Grades 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12: Students will have an at-home learning day.
• Wayzata Transition: Students will have in-person learning.

More detailed information about the first day, including specific schedules and expectations, will be shared by your child’s school.

In addition, the Wayzata School Board has approved a revised 2024-25 school year calendar. Key dates include:

• No-school day for K-5 students: Monday, October 21, 2024
• No-school day for part-day preschool students: Thursday, February 13, 2025
