WHS and CMS teams advance to 2026 National Science Bowl® Finals

Congratulations to our Wayzata High School and Central Middle School Science Bowl teams! Led by coaches Amanda Laden (WHS) and Kris Swartchick (CMS), our students recently won their regional competition for the 2026 National Science Bowl® and will travel to Washington, D.C. this spring to compete in the National Finals.

From April 30 to May 4, our students will compete against the best middle and high school teams in the country. They will be tested on their knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, and math in a fast-paced, buzzer-style competition. Along with the contest, the team will get to enjoy several days of sightseeing and science activities. We are so proud of their hard work and can't wait to cheer them on!
