14 WHS Students Earn Perfect Scores on ACT Test

Fourteen students from Wayzata High School earned perfect scores on the ACT test this year. Out of the nearly 1.7 million students nationally who took the ACT test in 2023, only 5,579 finished with a perfect score of 36.

The ACT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. It is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test administered by ACT, Inc. The purpose of the ACT test is to measure a high school student's readiness for college, and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. Students can take the test during the spring of their junior year or fall of their senior year.
