We are proud to offer competitive benefits for our eligible staff. Employer-provided insurance benefits are an important component of the total compensation package.

The employee’s eligibility and the district’s contribution towards insurance benefits are determined by each collective bargaining unit’s agreement with the district. There is no eligibility waiting period to participate in district insurance plans.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is offered to eligible staff. Enrollees have the choice of two insurance plans – Low Deductible and High Deductible – which would provide medical insurance benefits for themselves and for their dependents if they choose.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is offered to eligible staff. Enrollees have the option to elect coverage for themselves and for their dependents if they choose.

Life Insurance

Basic Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)

Basic term life insurance and AD&D is offered to eligible staff. The benefit amount is determined by each collective bargaining unit’s agreement.

Supplemental Term Life and Supplemental Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)

Supplemental term life insurance and AD&D is offered to eligible staff. This coverage would be provided at the employee’s expense on any coverage elected for the employee, spouse and children.

Long Term Disability Insurance

Long term disability insurance is offered to eligible staff and provides a 66 ⅔% income continuation after a 60 calendar day qualification period of continuous disability.
