Curriculum, Instruction & Technology Advisory Committee (CITAC)
Advises the district on what students learn and the technology they use.
Purpose and focus areas
Committee purpose:
- Review curriculum and technology plans.
- Advise school leaders on educational policies and trends.
- Connect the School Board with local business and residential voices.
Focus areas:
- Student learning goals and evaluations.
- Technology and teaching policies.
- New trends in local and national education.
- How laws affect classroom technology and learning.
Members
- Location: Live within Wayzata Public Schools boundaries.
- Expertise: Have a background in education or information technology.
- Commitment: Serve a three-year term and attend three morning meetings (October, January, and April).
- Passion: Want to help Wayzata students and families succeed.
