Curriculum, Instruction & Technology Advisory Committee (CITAC)

Advises the district on what students learn and the technology they use.

Purpose and focus areas

Committee purpose:

  • Review curriculum and technology plans.
  • Advise school leaders on educational policies and trends.
  • Connect the School Board with local business and residential voices.

Focus areas:

  • Student learning goals and evaluations.
  • Technology and teaching policies.
  • New trends in local and national education.
  • How laws affect classroom technology and learning.

Members

  • Location: Live within Wayzata Public Schools boundaries.
  • Expertise: Have a background in education or information technology.
  • Commitment: Serve a three-year term and attend three morning meetings (October, January, and April).
  • Passion: Want to help Wayzata students and families succeed.
