Thank you for your interest in Central Middle School’s Parent Teacher Association! Most families at CMS may not realize the many benefits provided by our PTA. Your support will assist our PTA in carrying out our mission to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We focus on the educational success, health, and well-being of our students through strong family and community engagement. Through our financial support and coordination of family engagement we strive to enhance the educational experience of all students at CMS.
This past year, Central’s PTA was able to support our students, teachers and staff by:
- Supplying CMS teachers with almost $20,000 in educational grant funding to purchase educational enrichments tools, including:
- Academic on-line subscriptions for various classes
- Equipment and support items for our SPED students
- Additional TI-84 calculators for math classrooms
- La Crosse and Volleyball Equipment for our PhyEd Classes
- Solar Ovens for our Science classrooms
- Podcast equipment
- Ceramic Shelves and Frames for our Art Classes
- New equipment for our FACS classes
- AND MUCH MORE!
- Providing funding and scholarships to assist with the amazing 8th Grade End-of-Year Celebration at MOA.
- Providing financial and volunteer support for Literacy Night, Cultural Appreciation Night as well as other community building events.
- Offsetting transportation costs for all grade level field trips
- Coordinating various teacher and staff appreciation meals and events throughout the year
- Funding various MyTime projects throughout the year.
To do all this, we raise money through our Fall PTA schoolwide fundraiser.

- Support CMS financially and participate in our Fall Fundraiser.
