Girls' Volleyball
Activity start date is Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
No experience is necessary. Uniforms are provided. Girls will need tennis shoes and gym clothes to practice in. Practice will be 4:20 - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Practice begins on Wednesday, September 4th.

Girls' Tennis
Activity start date is Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
Registration is open online for 7th and 8th grade Girls Tennis. No experience is necessary. Uniforms are provided. Girls will need tennis shoes and gym clothes to practice in, and a tennis racquet. Practice will be 4:20 - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Practice begins on Wednesday, September 4th.
End date of activity is Friday, October 25, 2024.
6th Grade Track Meet
6th grade track meet is October 1, 2024. Rain/weather backup is October 8, 2024. This is a great opportunity for students to make connections, form new friendships, and get in some physical activity! No track experience necessary. We will introduce you to running relays, long jump, hurdles, and shotput. Bring your water bottle, athletic clothing, and tennis shoes.
Practices are after school at the CMS track from 4:15pm-5:20pm.
Practice dates are:
September 17, September 19, September 26 and September 30
The Track & Field Meet is a friendly competition between CMS, EMS, and WMS. This takes place at the CMS track. Spectators are welcome and encouraged the day of the track meet. Bring a chair or blanket and cheer on the team.
Girls Swimming
6th Grade Cross Country Ruuning
6th grade boys and girls from Central, East and West who are interested in learning the basics of cross country training and racing along with a development of a love of running are invited to join the new 6th Grade Cross Country Running intramural!
● At the start of the school year, parents/students need to complete the intramural registration form for their school and pay the $25.00 fee. The form and fee should be
dropped off in the office at the student’s school.
● Space is limited to forty (40) 6th grade students.
● East and West students will ride the shuttle bus over to Central for participation.
○ Practice is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday ONLY
○ Shuttle bus info:
■ Bus #342 from East to Central leaves lower level lot at East @ 4:20; parks in and leaves from bus slot 19.
■ Bus #307 from West to Central leaves from West @ 4:20; parks in and leaves from bus slot 0 in bus corral.
■ The buses will drop the kids off in the main bus lot.
○ The kids will walk to the Central softball fields and meet the coaches. Kids will need to be picked up at Wayzata Central by 5:40 pm. Students will need a ride to any planned races. No buses will be provided.
