Happy Friday, students!
We are excited to share with you information about next week's Snow Days event! As you may have heard, Snow Days is going to take the place of Heart Week. This gives us some more flexibility with when we host the event from year to year and will hopefully help us mix things up a bit! Below are important events happening next week that we'd like you to know about.
Every morning before school, we will be hosting musical acts in the upper commons. Come celebrate the start of each day and get your picture taken in your fun dress-up outfits!
Monday - PJ Day
Tuesday - Twins Day (Dress like your bestie or grab your Minnesota Twins gear!)
Wednesday - College Day
Thursday - Jersey Day
Friday - Class Color Day
- Freshmen: Black
- Sophomores: White
- Juniors: Blue
- Seniors: Gold
Mr. Wayzata will be hosted in Auditorium 1 on Friday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m. Purchase your tickets via EPay starting on Monday.
This year's contestants include: Johnny Latimore, Ben Hidani, Zach Miller, Andy Nelson, Matt Kimathi, Chris Thiry, and Troy Salters. Emcees are Anna Osipov and Joe Kottke with students judges, Soni Schrader, Anisha Sharma and Deena Kassem.
Come join us for a fun time and some good laughs!
Sadie Hawkins Dance will be on Saturday, February 9, from 8:00-11:00 p.m. This year's dance will be winter-themed. We will also continue to have a casino night at the same time! There will be a complimentary coat check at the dance. Please buy your tickets on EPay before the dance. Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door. If you are bringing a guest that does not attend WHS, you must complete a Guest Registration Form.
Sing-O-Grams will be for sale during lunch on Monday-Friday for $5. These will be performed on Friday, February 8, during 4th block. Please do your best to know your friend's 4th block class so that we can move through the process quickly!
Monday Movies:
Enjoy a winter themed film during your lunch period to get in festive mood!
Thursday Cake Walk:
Pay $1 to play with the chance of winning tasty treats :)
