Welcome to Kindergarten!
Oakwood's Kindergarten Parent Information Night is tonight, 5:00-6:00 p.m. This for parents who have a child that will be attending kindergarten at Oakwood this coming fall.
Mrs. Sarabeth deNeui, our principal, will give a brief overview of kindergarten and kindergarten teachers will be there to answer any questions you may have. We will also have information available about Home Base, our after school child care program.
Since this is a parent only event, mark your calendars for Thursday, May 16. We will have our Kindergarten Welcome for children and parents. It will be from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. and is a wonderful opportunity for your child to see the school and meet some of the teachers!
If your child will not be attending Oakwood in the fall, please let us know what your alternate plans will be, by contacting Oakwood's secretary, Trish Hill, at 763-745-5701 or Trish.Hill@wayzataschools.org.

You may register online. Registering early is very important to the district so we can plan for staffing and class size.
Please register, even if your child has not had their five-year checkup. You may turn that paperwork in after your visit.
Your preschooler will need an Early Childhood Screening, which is required by the state of Minnesota. For more information, check out the District's Early Childhood website. Schedule your child's Early Child Screening today!
