From the Desk of Dr. G BookTalk DJs: Episode 8
Winter Break
Warmest Regards,
Did You Know? KICKS Toy Drive The KICKS team would like to thank all of our generous Greenwood families for helping make our Toy Drive a success. We are so excited to share that KICKS delivered over 250 toys to Children's Hospital Minnesota.
New Food Partnership The Sheridan Story has a new partnership to expand access to food for our community over Winter Break. December 27 through January 6, all YMCA Twin Cities Branch locations will have free bags of food available for anyone who requests it (while supplies last). Bags of food will contain shelf-stable, substantive and nutritious food. You do not need to be a member of the YMCA or provide any contact information to receive food – simply go to the front desk and ask for a bag of food. If you have questions, please contact Amy Rehbine, our school social worker, at Amy.Rehbine@wayzataschools.org.
Reminders Attendance A friendly reminder that students should be in the building by 7:35 a.m. and ready for instruction by the final bell at 7:45 a.m
PTA News Amazon Smile Support the PTA by starting your holiday shopping at Amazon Smile, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the money you spend to our school. Amazon Smile has the same products, same prices and same features as Amazon.
