Open House Reminders September 1, 2021
We are excited to see you at Open House on Wednesday, September 1. The purpose of Open House is to get your child's school picture taken, meet your child's teacher(s), and drop-off school supplies. In order to help with parking space and public health, please plan on keeping your classroom visit to less than 10 minutes. Also, if possible, please come during your assigned time listed below. Please note masks will be required when inside the building, but your child will be able to remove it for school pictures.

Can't make it to Open House? No worries. Have your child bring school supplies over the first few days of school, and the picture make-up date will be October 6 during school hours.

Stop by the gym before or after you visit your students classroom to have a school picture taken!
Kemmetmueller Photography will be taking our school pictures this year. They are a locally, family owned business. They will take several pictures which you will be able to preview before placing an order.
PTA Back to School Bash September 1, 2021 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Teacher Assignments August 30, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
Kimberly Lane teachers will send a welcome emails to their families on August 30, at 4:00 p.m. You will also be able to view your students 2021- 2022 teacher assignment in Skyward Family Access at that time.

School Bus Information
New families who complete their enrollment at the Welcome Center by August 6 will receive their busing information from the Wayzata Transportation Department via email this week. If enrollment is completed after August 6, information will be emailed after August 27. No postcards will be mailed this year
Returning families will also receive information via email this week.

Upcoming Dates - Mark your calendar
Virtual Orientation (Optional) for Kindergarten & 1st Grade Parents September 9, 2021 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. This optional meeting will give a brief overview of the upcoming school year via Zoom. Link will be sent by your child's teacher.
Coyote Dash - October 1, 2021 This PTA Fundraiser is held during the school day. Proceeds will fund field trip buses, and other school activities.
Picture Make-Up Day - October 6, 2021 If your student isn't able to come in for picture day on September 1, they will have their picture taken during the school day.

School starts on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 Our school hours are 7:45 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.
The entire school year schedule is available online. Knowing when breaks are can be very helpful in planning your family vacations during times when school is not in session.

Community Education Youth Enrichment New offering! Wayzata Community Ed and Twin City Tennis Camps are pleased to offer tennis lessons for ages 5-18 at Central Middle School this summer.
