Partners for Healthy Kids Newsletter Summer 2021 Newsletter Dear Partners for Healthy Kids Community,
It's official! Summer is here. And although the pandemic is not yet behind us, with the warmer weather comes the ability to hold more activities outside and opportunities for community engagement. Please see below for information about summer activities, programs and resources available from our local partners. Thank you for your continued support of our youth, families and community. Have a wonderful summer!
Meeting Updates: The Partners for Healthy Kids meeting schedule for the 2021-2022 school year has yet to be determined. Keep an eye out for a message from Annie McDaniels later this summer with the 2021-2022 meeting information.

Opportunity for Partners to Align Youth & Family Feedback: Great Expectations This summer Great Expectations is launching a second wave of youth and family engagement via community conversations where they share their experiences/thoughts/hopes related to student success in school and community. We will use this new source of qualitative data alongside our quantitative data to guide the future of Great Expectations.
To make the best use of youth/family time and effort, we would like to align as much as possible across schools and community organizations. With this in mind, we would like to connect with partners and organizations who are thinking about or planning a similar engagement effort.
If your organization or program is planning a similar engagement effort, please email Kate Brause at KBrause@iocp.org by Thursday, July 8. Our next step is to bring everyone together to plan how we can work together.
*Please note that GE's footprint includes the Interfaith Outreach service area and Orono School District so those communities will be engaged as well.
