Parent Newsletter June 10, 2021
HURRAY... WE DID IT! Last Thursday we celebrated with former students who recently graduated and participated in our 2021 Senior Walk tradition. There were many happy cheers and proud tears. It was a one of many celebrations that we've had this year. As we have said again and again, thank you for all of your continued support and flexibility through this highly unusual year. While it has been challenging, we have had many things to be thankful for and to celebrate. Our fantastic families and students are at the top of the list.
We wish you and your family a happy, healthy summer filled with newly appreciated freedoms. We look forward to seeing you all back in the fall. To our fifth graders, best of luck in middle school, and we hope you come back to visit. (And you better come back for your senior walk!)
Summer Play Dates Please join fellow Kimberly Lane students and families for a pre-back to school playdate this August. Join friends and classmates for an hour of free play on the playgrounds. We will have a Kona Ice Truck at both events. This is a great way to help the kids get reacquainted and excited to return in the fall. This is not a drop-off event and will not be staffed by Kimberly Lane.
Did You Know?
Last Chance to Order Your School Supplies Ordering from EPI School Supply Packs helps you save time and money when back-to-school shopping. When you order it saves up to 40% compared to the same supplies from a national retailer.
Supply packs will be shipped directly to your home August 2-8. Shipping costs are $8 for the first pack and $1 each additional pack. Even with the shipping costs, it is still a significant savings over retail shopping. For questions, contact Kari Abood.
Reminders Is Your Family Moving? This is the time of year when many families make decisions to move. If your family is moving within the Wayzata School District, please contact the Welcome Center with your new address and a copy of your purchase agreement or lease. If you are moving out of the school district, we ask that you fill out the Withdrawal Form below. This form should be completed if your family is moving out of the district, making a different choice for education, or homeschooling.
