A Message from Mrs. Paul Dear Plymouth Creek Families,
This afternoon we celebrated the retirements of two very important Plymouth Creek staff members, Bob Colonnese and Laurel Johns: Bob Colonnese (the kids call him Mr. C.) has worked at Plymouth Creek for the last eight years, supporting students with math and literacy skills and serving as a supervisor in our cafeteria and on the playground. All of us have benefitted from his gentle demeanor and kindness. He is quick to tell a joke and spoils the staff often with his baking skills.
Laurel Johns has worked at Plymouth Creek for 24 years, first as a paraprofessional, then as a Learning Lab staff member, and finally as a Literacy Specialist for the last 16 years! Laurel's diligence, compassion, and extensive literacy knowledge has helped our students to thrive. She is witty, charming, and a true lover of learning.
Both Mr. C. and Mrs. Johns will be dearly missed by staff, students, and families. Many thanks and sincere gratitude for the ways they have served Plymouth Creek!
We also welcomed back former Plymouth Creek students for the annual Senior Walk. Students lined the sidewalk in front of the school to cheer, encourage, and congratulate this year's graduating seniors. It was fun to have the class of 2021 visit their home elementary school!
If your family is moving within the district over the summer, please contact the Welcome Center with your new address and a copy of your purchase agreement or lease. If you are moving out of the school district, we ask that you fill out the Withdrawal Form as soon as possible. This form should be completed if your family is moving out of the district, making a different choice for education, or homeschooling.
Yearbooks from Lifetouch will arrive in July. Once a specific date is set, you'll receive information about a pickup event. Stay tuned!
All my best, Ashley Paul
