Principal's Message We offer our sincere thank you as we enter the last week of the school year. We are proud of the resilience that was demonstrated throughout the year by students, parents, and staff. We faced challenges that we could not have imagined a couple of years ago. We drew on our ability to be flexible and adaptable as we found new ways to achieve excellence. While we have work to do in the upcoming months and years, we have positioned ourselves to continue our progression toward a world class education.
The last week of school will provide opportunities to wrap up the important learning in each class as well as time to bring closure to this unique year. This can be a delicate balance between focus and fun. On behalf of the entire staff at East Middle School, we wish each and every family a safe and rejuvenating summer.
End-of-Year Medication Pick-Up On the last day of school, unless parents make other arrangements, medications including prescription and over-the-counter medications, will be placed in the student backpack inside a sealed paper bag. Note: any controlled substances such as Adderall, methylphenidate, or Diazepam etc. must be picked up by a parent by the end of the last day of school or medications will be destroyed. If you have any questions, call the health paraprofessional at 763-745-6215.
