Did You Know? Free Meals during the Summer Schools meals don't have to stop just because its summer. Summer Eats helps provide meals during the summer. This program is open for all children 18 and under. No registration required.
Grades K-4 Return iPads at End of School Year We will be collecting ALL K-4 iPads at the end of the school year. Students who are attending Camp Explore will receive an iPad on their first day of summer learning.
Distance Choice Students All K-4 Distance Choice students will need to turn in their iPad, case, cable and charger in working order on June 10. More information will be sent out. Any broken iPads need to be repaired prior to being returned. Please read this for more information.
Hotspots District tech will also be collecting all hot spots that families have checked out. Communication will be coming soon from our Tech Office about returning this equipment by June 11.
Fifth Graders Fifth Graders will be keeping their iPads through the summer and bringing them to Middle School. Please click here for more information.
Is Your Family Moving? This is the time of year when many families make decisions to move. If your family is moving within the Wayzata School District, please contact the Welcome Center with your new address and a copy of your purchase agreement or lease. If you are moving out of the school district, we ask that you fill out the Withdrawal Form below. This form should be completed if your family is moving out of the district, making a different choice for education, or homeschooling.
Reminders Lost and Found If you see an item that belongs to your child, email your child's teacher. Items will be donated after two weeks in lost and found.
Reporting Absences When your child is absent or tardy please report absences using Skyward Family Access. If Skyward is not accessible you can call the 24-hour school attendance line at 763-745-7155. Children are considered unexcused if their absence is not recorded by a parent or a guardian.

Around the District School Newsletters If you ever miss a school newsletter, you can find them archived on our website. Simply go to wayzataschools.org, click on your child's school, click under the "Families" tab and under "Stay Connected" you will find the "Newsletter Archive". Thank a Teacher with a bundt cake! This school year has been unusual to say the least! Our teachers and staff have been a consistent, welcoming presence in our students' lives this year more than ever. Show your support for all they have done with a donation to the Wayzata Education Fund. Each donation made in honor of a teacher or staff until June 1 will include a special certificate of thanks from you, and every donation of $25 or more will come with a bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Whether they’ve helped make a difference in-person or virtually, show your appreciation by participating in our Thank a Teacher program.
Community Ed New offering! Wayzata Community Ed and Twin City Tennis Camps are pleased to offer tennis lessons for ages 5-18 at Central Middle School this summer. Full or half-day camps available. Find more information and register on the Twin City Tennis website. Does your 8-13 year old want to stay home alone after school or in the summer? Get your children trained with SafeKids 101 and both of you will feel more confident about their safety at home and in the community. You can find more information and register on our registration site. Class is Monday, June 14 from 8:30 - 11:00 AM at Oakwood Elementary.
