Principal's Note
We would like to thank our wonderful PTA for the awesome treats that were provided to our staff this entire week. We so appreciate you!
We have new planters at Oakwood. Thomas Dalton, from Troop 3570, built the raised planters for Oakwood as part of his Eagle Scout project. They are now complete and look amazing! There are six, one for each grade level. Some of the students noticed them right away. Everyone is very excited about the new planters and the idea of a garden at school!

School Supplies for 2021-2022 School Year! We are excited to launch our School Supply Kit service for the 2021-2022 school year! This year, this service is provided by the PTA as a convenience to you - this is not a fundraiser for the PTA. Also, please note that they will be mailing kits to your home once again, given that we do not know how Open House will look this August. Please contact secretary@oakwoodpta.org with any questions.

Oakwood Family Directory As a reminder - ALL Oakwood families need to login or create an account and input family information to be included in the directory, even if you have done so last school year (your info will not be visible until you do so). You will not be able to access friends in the directory without doing this! Any questions can be directed to Michelle Ugurlu, Vice President Oakwood PTA, vicepresident@oakwoodpta.org.
Submit Your Box Tops Box Tops makes it easy to earn. No more clipping. No more dropping Box Tops in the Oakwood bucket. All you need is your phone. Download the Box Tops app, Shop as you normally would, and scan your store receipt. The app will automatically find participating products and credit Oakwood's Box Tops earnings. Twice a year, Oakwood will receive a check! It's that easy!

Thank a Teacher with a bundt cake! This school year has been unusual to say the least! Our teachers and staff have been a consistent, welcoming presence in our students' lives this year more than ever. Show your support for all they have done with a donation to the Wayzata Education Fund. Each donation made in honor of a teacher or staff until June 1 will include a special certificate of thanks from you, and every donation of $25 or more will come with a bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Whether they’ve helped make a difference in-person or virtually, show your appreciation by participating in our Thank a Teacher program. WHS Recognized as One of Nation's Best High Schools With an overall score of 97.6 out of 100, Wayzata High School (WHS) was recently ranked #2 among traditional public high schools in Minnesota by U.S. News & World Report.
