A Note from Principal Keffeler Hello Meadow Ridge Families,
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We will be celebrating our staff members in a number of different ways. I think we can all agree that our appreciation for teachers has grown since the pandemic began. Their commitment to providing consistency and positivity has been nothing short of amazing. Through model changes, curriculum modifications, and personally hard days, they have shown their best to students and families. I can't imagine leading a better staff this year. I am truly humbled and grateful for their generous hearts. Please take a few minutes to express your gratitude to your child's teachers.
We are also thankful for parents and our PTO! The new playground for the littlest Cardinals is a go! Because of your generosity, the PTO will give just over $98,000 to cover the cost. It will be installed this summer and ready for use this fall.
Congratulations to France Roberts, who is a finalist for Minnesota Teacher of the Year. Mr. Roberts is a first grade teacher, and we are all cheering for him!
Enjoy the wonderful weather this weekend. I hope Spring is here to stay!
Best,
Karen

If you are moving out of the school district, we ask that you fill out the Withdrawal Form below. This form should be completed if your family is moving out of the district, making a different choice for education, or homeschooling.

Thank a Teacher this holiday season with a bundt cake! This school year has been unusual to say the least! Our teachers and staff have been a consistent, welcoming presence in our students' lives this year more than ever. Show your support for all they have done with a donation to the Wayzata Education Fund. Each donation made in honor of a teacher or staff until June 1 will include a special certificate of thanks from you, and every donation of $25 or more will come with a bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Whether they’ve helped make a difference in person or virtually, show your appreciation by participating in our Thank a Teacher program. Teacher of the Year finalist Nine teachers from across the state have been named finalists in the 2021 Minnesota Teacher of the Year program. Congratulations to Mr. France Roberts, Meadow Ridge first grade teacher, who was named a finalist.
