Did You Know? From the Media Center
Author and Illustrator David LaRochelle "visit" This week, we had an informative and funny video visit with local author/illustrator David LaRochelle who has been creating children's books for over 25 years. The students and staff loved his creative storytelling while turning numbers into story illustrations. Ask your child(ren) which illustration was their favorite! Thank you, once again, to our PTSA for funding this visit. For more information, click here David LaRochelle.
Picture Retake Day Picture retake has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 27. In-person students will have their photos taken between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Distance choice students will be able to come in to school from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. that evening.
Reminders Parent Input A significant part of our planning for the 2021-2022 school year involves placing students into balanced learning groups. Parents wishing to provide input must submit this Parent Input Form by Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
Reporting Absences in Skyward Family Access When your student is absent, we need you to report the absence in Skyward Family Access, or with a call to the attendance line at 763-745-5955, to let us know the reason for the absence. If we do not hear from you, the absence will be unexcused. Informing the teacher is helpful, but the absences must be reported in Skyward or to the attendance line for recording purposes.

If for any reason, you would not like your student's picture included in the yearbook, please email our school secretary Jay Narasimhan at jayashree.narasimhan@wayzataschools.org to ensure it is not submitted.
