From the Principal
Dear North Woods Families,
I hope that you and your family have a restful and healthy spring break. I am looking forward to reconnecting with family members and unplugging for a while. If your child experiences covid symptoms prior to returning to school, please follow the regular quarantine protocol.
We look forward to reconnecting with you in April! Thank you for all you do to support North Woods. We truly appreciate working with your children each day.
With gratitude,
Jenny Berg

Distance Learning Material Pick-Up Our next distance learning pick up will be Friday, April 16. We will continue to have pick ups every other Friday through the end of the school year. Items will be distributed at door #1 (upper lot) from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Please return your child's current plastic bag with their name on it for pick-up.
Future Pick Up Dates:
We will have staff members out to ensure drop off runs smoothly and safely. School starts promptly at 7:45. If you arrive at or after 7:45, please park and walk your child into the entryway where we will check them in. Do not let your child out of the vehicle until 7:30 when a staff member gives the signal. The doors will be locked until then. New Morning Drop Off Signs
North Woods has added signs to help our morning drop off run smoothly and safely!
Reminders Reporting Absences Please report absences in Skyward Family Access when your child is absent or tardy. Children are considered unexcused without a call to the attendance line from a parent or guardian. You can still call the school attendance line at 763-745-4055 to report an absence.
PTO News The PTO Needs Your Help
We are already starting to think about the exciting PTO-sponsored events to come! At our last meeting of the year (date TBD in May) we will be voting in the new board and budget for next school year.
We are looking for a couple of new board members. Our most urgent need is for someone to volunteer to be President. The President oversees and coordinates events, programs, chairpersons and board members so the purpose of the organization is served. It's a fun way to stay connected to all that's going on at school while helping to shape PTO-sponsored events. And you will have an experienced board to help you!
We also need 2 people to serve as the nomination committee. The nomination committee is responsible for presenting the slate for the board at the May meeting. Current PTO President will give you the names for the slate.
If you would like to know more about board positions or can serve on the nomination committee, please send a note to Laura Benson at labenson99@gmail.com.
We don't have a PTO without your help so thanks in advance!
