Principal's Message It will be an exciting summer at Gleason Lake. We have several projects occurring around our school which will enhance our building. We will have renovations in our media center, kitchen, the south upper and lower level classrooms and one of our computer labs will be converted into a flex learning space. Our classrooms will be getting new retractable walls, carpet, paint, and the islands will be also be replaced. This is scheduled as a two-year project with the north upper and lower level classrooms and foyer area being renovated next summer. I have added a few photos of the media center and will continue to share more photos as plans are finalized.
Did You Know? DC Learning Materials Pick Up Tomorrow 3:30-5:30 All K-5 Distance Choice students will have a material pick up inside our foyer from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26.

Gleason Lake Yearbook online orders extended through April 1 The deadline for ordering a yearbook has been extended through end of day on Thursday, April 1. The order ID code for a Gleason Lake yearbook is 13582021. Yearbooks can only be ordered online through the Lifetouch website.
Clothing Needed in the Health Office Doing spring cleaning? Nurse Sue is looking for donations of clean, gently used or new girls leggings or stretch pants in any size. Also needed are small sizes of girls' short sleeve tops. Thanks!
Spring Break Begins April 1 Spring break begins next week on Thursday, April 1. School will start again on Monday, April 12.
April Book Club Mrs. Whitlock's next book club meeting will be on Thursday, April 15. We will be reading and discussing multi-award winning novel Rules by Cynthia Lord. Interested students should return a signed permission slip to the library to receive a copy of the book.

Parent Input Form Due March 29 A significant part of our planning for the 2021-2022 school year involves placing students into balanced learning groups. Parents wishing to provide input must complete the Parent Input Form and return it directly to Mrs. McKasy by March 29.
Picture Retake Day is April 13 Lifetouch will be taking retakes on April 13 in our gym. In-Person students will take photos between 1:45-2:45, and Distance Choice students can come anytime between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. No appointment necessary.
