News from the PTO

Families and Staff,

My name is Christine McCoy and I'll be your PTO President for the  year.  Although I am coming into this position a little late, I have quickly come to realize how important and impactful the relationship is between our parents, our school and our children. The PTO supports a multitude of initiatives and programs that help our children. To date, we've:

  • Sponsored the entryway monitor to aid communications and share important news
  • Supported our staff at a Teacher Work Day in August and welcomed our new staff with their own East Spiritwear
  • Kicked off our Classroom Support Initiative by providing needed classroom supplies
  • Approved a grant to buy t-shirts for students in the Harmony Bridge Program where students build connections through music with seniors in our community

Many more opportunities are on the way as we will continue to support the various school-wide academic competitions, field trips, media center books and supplies, recess equipment and more! Please consider contributing to support these great events and needs through your tax-deductible contributions.

Thank you to those of you who have already helped to make our school exceptional.  We look forward to continuing and building on this great partnership. If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of us on the PTO.

Thank you and cheers to a great school year!

Christine McCoy
