A Note from Principal Keffeler Hello Meadow Ridge Families,
Happy 100th day of school! Kindergarten and first grade classrooms celebrated the big day in 100 different ways. It was a happy day.
We are noticing an uptick in students bringing cell phones and other tech (items worn on wrists) to school, and using them during the day. We highly recommend that devices stay home, as there is no need for them at school. That said, we do understand that some students have these items. We are going to implement the rules and guidelines that Central Middle School has adopted, as students will go there for middle school. We will talk more about the guidelines and consequences with 4th and 5th graders. Here are the expectations for all students:
Consequences include collecting the device and keeping it in the office until the end of the day. Specifics will be shared in the coming days.
Thank you for supporting your child's learning,
Karen
Did You Know? Reporting Absences Please report absences in Skyward Family Access when your child is absent or tardy. Children are considered unexcused without a call to the attendance line from a parent or guardian. You can still call the school attendance line at 763-745-7155 to report an absence.
5th Grade Parents The Central Middle School PTA will have leadership positions open on the board, as well as other volunteer opportunities for parents. If you are interested or have additional questions, please contact Christina Bulisco at christinabulisco@gmail.com. Elections will be in the spring.
Reminders Lost and Found If you see an item that belongs to your child, email your child's teacher. Items will be donated after two weeks in lost and found.
