Golden Tray Winners!

At Kimberly Lane we are focusing and recognizing students who are polite at lunch. The culinary express staff chooses one child per month in each grade level to win the Golden Tray Award. Here are the students whose politeness shined the brightest this last week. The winner of the Golden Tray Award actually wins the award for his/her class since the tray gets to be displayed in the winner's classroom the whole week. The Golden Tray Award is a traveling trophy and winners announced once each month! Congratulations to Chance, Eloise, Michael, Carter, Hudson, and Jaliena!

The Online Student Directory Is Here

The Kimberly Lane Student Directory is now available online. Information in this directory was obtained from your Skyward account. If any telephone numbers or email addresses are inaccurate, please log into Skyward Family Access to update this information. If your address is incorrect you will need to contact the Welcome Center at 763-745-5240. Each family will receive a print version of the directory in November.

Friday Night Ski Club Is Here

Bob Schultz and Dave Jackson, two of our 5th grade teachers, have been running an after-school Friday night ski club for several years at Birchview and last year at Kimberly Lane. The majority of this program services 3rd-5th graders but is open to former club members in middle school.  If you have any questions, please email schultzskiclub@gmail.com.

Bullying Prevention

Kimberly Lane will continue to focus on bullying prevention and kindness this month. During the week of October 22, students will learn ways and participate in activities to be kind and inclusive to others. On October 24, the school will celebrate Unity Day. Students are encouraged to wear orange on this day to unite against bullying and promote kindness, inclusion, and acceptance.

Does Your Student Ride a Day Care Bus At The End Of Day?

If your child rides one of the day care buses at the end of the day it is critical that you let them know if they will not be taking it on any given day.  There are times when we hold all buses because they are looking for a student that normally rides their bus but had alternate plans that we were unaware of.  Thank you for helping us make our end of the day run smoothly!
