Message from Mr. Fredrickson

The Fun Run is tomorrow!

Thank you to all of our families for supporting our PTA. Although the financial support is most appreciated, we also hope you can be involved in events, too. Please sign up to be a part of the action!

A couple things about tomorrow's run.

Dress your child for the weather. It is supposed to be cold. Hats, jackets and mittens will be needed.
Because of this week's rain, we will be running in the drop off/pick up area. To get set up, this area will be closed before school. We will use the cul-de-sac to assist in drop off. Please watch for adults who will be guiding traffic.
The schedule for the run is
9:00-9:45 – Kindergarten & 1st Grade
10:00-10:45 – 4th and 5th Grade
11:00-11:45 – 2nd and 3rd Grade

Hope you are able to watch, but if not, know it will be a grand time!

Great Apple Crunch 2018

Thursday, October 11 is the 2018 Great Apple Crunch! We're celebrating National Farm to School Month by crunching into apples at noon. Everyone is welcome to crunch! Check out our video on Facebook from Great Apple Crunch 2017.

The Bobcat Fun Run is tomorrow! It's not too late to donate!

Please visit the website to register your student(s) and enable family and friends to show their support!

The money we raise allows the Birchview PTA to award grants to teachers who want more books in their classrooms, wobble stools to help with busy bodies, instruments for music, supplies for art and SO much more.

Funds raised also help keep the cost of field trips down for all students, enable us to put on Community Night, Kids' College, Movie Nights, the Birchview Chill and Blast, one heck of a end-of-the-year Carnival and SO much more.

Please consider donating and encourage family, friends and neighbors to do the same. Donations are tax-deductible.

If your child raises $30, he/she gets a soft, puffy bobcat spirit tail!
If your child raises $60, he or she gets a gooey, sticky eyeball!

If your child raises $100, he or she gets VIP entrance to Community Night.

Join us at Birchview tomorrow to cheer on our students!

Community Night will be October 26, 6:00-8:30 p.m. Join us for bounce houses, a DJ and more! More details to follow.

The Birchview PTA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance learning outside the classroom, provide equitable opportunities to students and staff, create community and show appreciation for our community members.
