While the district cannot and will not require a quarantine upon returning for anyone who travels, the MDH and CDC recommendations provide good safety information for all to consider. Thank you for your support as we continue to do all we can to keep our students and staff safe.
And please remember the following safety protocols that are always in place:
- Please keep your child at home if they are sick. The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Extreme fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- New or severe headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- New congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Your child should stay home if anyone in your household or anyone they have been in contact with is sick until COVID-19 is ruled out, or they have received another diagnosis from a medical professional.
- Your child should stay home when someone in your household or anyone else they have been in contact with has tested positive for COVID-19 or is awaiting test results.
- Our schools will work to accommodate students who are in the hybrid or in-person learning model who need to quarantine due to close contact. Because each situation is unique, families are encouraged to reach out to their school if a quarantine is needed.
Throughout the pandemic, our priority has always been to do everything possible to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. Thank you for your continued partnership.
Sincerely,
Chace B. Anderson
Superintendent
