A Message from Mrs. Paul Dear Plymouth Creek families,
We have had a great first few days with all K-5 in-person students in the building. The "big kids" came back this week and have done an exceptional job acclimating. It is exciting to be able to honor the choices families have made about in-person or online learning, while fully knowing ALL students are experiencing high quality instruction. One way we are working to foster connectedness is by celebrating I Love to Read Month in February! We have a news feature on Wednesday where in-person and Distance Choice students are telling us about what they are currently reading. Staff and students are encouraged to wear something with words on it each Thursday for Read My Shirt Day, and we will end the month with an all-school Read-a-Thon!
Have you signed up for a spring conference? The scheduling window opened last Thursday and will remain open through this weekend. Please take the time to sign up for a meeting with your child's teacher if you haven't already done so. Please use the information below to sign up:

Did You Know? No School - Friday, February 12 and Monday, February 15 There will be no school on Friday, February 12 due to parent-teacher conferences, and Monday, February 15 due to President's Day. School will resume on Tuesday, February 16. Wayzata Kids Childcare will be closed on both days as well.
Distance Choice Materials Pick-Up: Tomorrow There is a materials pick-up for Distance Choice students tomorrow - Friday, February 5. If you've received a notice that the book your child requested from our Media Center is ready for pickup, you can also retrieve the book(s) tomorrow. Materials and books will be outside from 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Progress Reports in Skyward Family Access Report cards will be available in Family Access tomorrow, February 5 at 4:00 p.m. You may see many markings of "I" or "NA". An "I" indicates a skill that is in progress. This simply means your student is still working on mastery of the skill. Given that we are only halfway through the school year, it would make sense that many students are still working toward mastery. A marking of "NA" indicates a skill that was not assessed for this marking period. Due to our transition to full distance learning in December, there may be skills that teachers feel are better assessed in the classroom. Please help your child celebrate the successes you see and provide encouragement for the areas in which they are still working toward mastery.
Plymouth Creek Graduates Sign Letter of Intent The following was posted on social media this week by Wayzata Public Schools: Congratulations to our Wayzata High School National Letter of Intent signees today who will continue their athletic and educational journeys at colleges and universities locally and across the country! #TrojanPride #WeAreWayzata #WayzataWellness
Three of these students are former Plymouth Creek students. Congratulations!

Emergency Information Form For a variety of reasons, there is often a need to contact you throughout the course of the school year. Parents/Guardians are asked to keep their contact information up-to-date in Skyward Family Access Emergency Information Form.
