The Virtual German Exchange Begins

Our Virtual Exchange between Wayzata High School and Humboldt Gymnasium in Germany is happening now - February 1-20.

20 students from each school are getting to know each other as they engage in projects together and interact on Zoom and other platforms. Together they are exploring the themes of everyday life, sustainability and diversity.

Although there is no travel this year, we are still able to engage and fulfill the main purposes of our exchange; broadening our perspectives, learning about our own identities and connecting with people and cultures through German and English around topics important to our world.

We have been exchanging with Humboldt in Dusseldorf Germany since 1976. We hope to host and travel again in the future, but might also keep some virtual options open as well, so think about participating in the program in the future.  Contact: Karen Nickel
