A Note from Principal Keffeler Hello Meadow Ridge Families,
We welcomed back the students in grades 3-5 this week. Looking back, it's hard to believe it was 11 months ago that they were all together as a classroom of students. It's been an adjustment, and I am proud of our Meadow Ridge community.
There was a bit of a glitch when the parent/teacher conference scheduler was opened last Friday. That has been corrected, so please schedule a conference with your child(ren)'s teacher(s) if you haven't already done so. This is a great opportunity to discuss their progress, and goals for the remainder of the year. The majority of parents who completed the survey really liked the Zoom conferences.
Our morning drop off continues to get smoother as people remember and follow "the flow." I understand that there are some parents who are dropping off their children at the sidewalk that connects us to the neighborhood to the south. One of our guiding principles during the creation and design process was that we wanted to be a good neighbor to homeowners. Please help us be a good neighbor! If you live in the neighborhood to the south and are dropping off your children there, only park on the north side of the street, and be extra mindful of others in the neighborhood.
First semester progress reports are available on Skyward Family Access beginning Friday, February 4 at 4 p.m.
Stay healthy,
Karen
