From the Principal Dear North Woods Families,
Our materials pick up event last Friday was a huge success! Over 95% of our families received their items. We will be having another pick up on December 18 from 8:00-12:00 in the upper lot at North Woods. Please bring back the plastic bag(s) with your child's name on them at that time. Remember to reserve books from the Media Center by Wednesday, December 16 at 12:00 p.m., to ensure receiving your items for winter break.
We are running a Giving Tree this month in support of Interfaith Outreach. Please drop off any socks or pajamas you would like to donate at the box at the entrance of the building. You can also drop off items on December 18 when you pick up supplies for your child.
You received a second semester learning model change request form from the district on Monday asking if you want to switch learning models second semester. You should only fill out the form if you are changing learning models.
I hope you and your family are well.
With gratitude,
Jenny Berg

Setting-up Screen Time Controls on Student iPads The Screen Time feature available on all student iPads lets you know how much time your student spends on apps, websites, and more. Using this tool, you can make informed decisions about how they use their devices and set limits.

If your family is in need of extra books to read over the next few weeks while we are on winter break, now is the time to act! 3rd through 5th graders can request books using Destiny. If you have a child in kindergarten through 2nd grade and you are learning from home, you will need to help your child request books using Destiny. Kids attending Wayzata Kids will have the opportunity to choose books directly from Mrs. Kirchner or they can request books and she will deliver to their classrooms.
Books requested by Wednesday, December 16 at noon, will be filled and prepared for curbside pickup during classroom material pickup on Friday, December 18. Books requested after noon on Wednesday will only be filled if time permits. Please do not wait until the last minute to request books; the sooner you request, the better.
